Rehoboth’s Stoney Lonen Irish Pub & Eatery Supports the Children’s Beach
HouseOn Thursday, June 7th, from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m., Stoney Lonen Irish
Pub and Eatery located at 208 Second Street in downtown Rehoboth will host a
benefit for the Children’s Beach House Sandcastle Program. Stoney Lonen will be
offering their full menu along with some additional specials throughout the
night and 15% of the evening’s earnings will be donated to the Children’s Beach
House to generate financial support for the Sandcastle Day Camp Program. This
program consists of two, four-week day camps held at the Children’s Beach House
located at 1800 Bay Avenue in Lewes. Each camp includes at-risk children ages
4-6 from the Cape Henlopen School District that are recommended to the program
by school officials for experiencing difficulties meeting pre-school and
kindergarten standards. The program offers the children speech and language
enrichment, literacy activities, activities to foster social skills, music and
movement games, environmental education, swimming and arts and crafts. To learn

2nd Annual Epworth Preschool Fundraiser a Success
On Thursday,
March 15th, from 5pm – 9pm, Stoney Lonen Irish Pub and Eatery, located at 208
Second Street in downtown Rehoboth, hosted the 2nd Annual Epworth Preschool
Fundraiser. Stoney Lonen donated a percentage of all proceeds earned that
evening to Epworth Preschool for the use of purchasing new books, toys and
supplies for the classrooms and new school. “We hosted the same fundraiser last
year and it was a huge success,” stated owner John Rishko. “We were packed with
families and Epworth Preschool supporters all night long and this year was even
better!”
Epworth’s Preschool Director, Betsy Plowman was very pleased with the attendance
of the event. “Epworth Preschool is a non-profit organization that benefits
greatly from fundraising and donations. It was refreshing to see the community
come together to support our program,” stated Plowman.
Stoney Lonen was able to raise $500 for Epworth Preschool that evening. Both
Epworth and Stoney Lonen would like to extend a special thanks to all of who
attended.

Stoney Lonen to Host 2nd Annual Epworth Preschool Fundraiser

celebration with a benefit for Epworth Preschool. Stoney Lonen will feature
their $14.95 Lonen Lobster Feast along with their regular spring menu all
evening. In honor of St. Patrick, Stoney Lonen will be donating 10% of all
proceeds earned that evening to Epworth Preschool for the use of purchasing new
books, toys, supplies for the classrooms and new school. “We hosted the same
